I jointed the 2 bottom peices of plywood together
I glued things together with fiberglassing resin and
PL brand adheasive/caulk
here is my extention on the keel(I cut the piece too short, the duct tape is
temporary (I don't have many clamps, sorry).
Here I am, going to my garage through the basement. Since a few people were over
I had someone else do the camera work.
Here is the final jointed peice
The inner cuts on the bulkheads were lofted, for which I manufacted a 6"
radius compass
Between jobs I had to figure out exactly what I was going to do next, and during
those times the workers played basketball
I forget the reason why I takled him, but he had it coming for a while
Delinquents playing basketball, and hitting my car with is in the process
sometimes, GET BACK TO WORK! They are working for free though.
The 3 keel layers where glued and screwed. Work was set back when if was found
that my countersink bored too deep a hole and the 1-1/2" screws where going through the 2 peices of lumber.
This was very unfortunate, the screws were backed out and the next layer was glued on top, the screws might
have been backed out too far and that could have created a small void near the mid-keel section, it was
caulked up on day 16. The next layer was screwed on, and I didn't have to worry about screws going through
since it was all three layers together. One of the two small stem parts that is foremost broke in half, but
that is no big deal, a new one will be made.
