DAY 38 - April 1st - April Fools' Day
I cut out parts for the wheel at the school's shop today
You asked for it, another picture of the builder himself (ok only a few people
asked for it, mainly the people who thought the first was hilarious)
I used some ~30+ years old Raw Linseed Oil after I took the belt sander to
these at home
I caught finnishing feaver and began to put the oil on
some of the mast box parts. I then used stain on the stringers and plywood, even though they will
be painted.
I went on to do the rest of the mast box parts I have (I need to cut 2
part B's and I am done).
The only cure to finnishing feaver is taking the product away, the victim
will never stop because it never looks finished enough(I think it needs sides hmm...). Here is what I
did tonight, for what? I do not know, I intent to paint most of the plywood, maybe stain and varnish
some visable stringers.
The stain brought out the brass screws I used, it makes me glad that I used
them.
