Day 71! - May 3rd

May 1st I bought this oak from Fullerton supply

My computer is still broken

The trunk vertex point, as it was pointed out a while ago at the messing-about forum (www.messing-about.com/forums) it was too sharp. So when I put the cabin trunk (1/4 Luaun plywood) on I had to shove a little scrap of wood, and I think sythetic stuffing from a comferter that I am using to clean up drips, it was then filled with Fiberglass resin mixed with hardener catylist and sawdust from various woods. The rest of the boat is not this slipshod, but I needed something to go there.

The gusset was attached and I started to add stringers

I went with a square cutout here and attached a hatch I made here

The trunk gusset, notice the small split

The front sides were attached, up front there is some flaws since they don't fit perfectly

I dry fitted the seats

Seats

I cut the roof.

I drew this scetch a while ago of what I wanted my boat to look like, some of these mods will not make it on, and some will be post-completetion

the hatcbox, made from 1/4 luaun

The hatchbox will be removable

To conserve the precious premium Oak the grab rails were lofted on stagared.
